Two-vehicle accident on Rt. 40


FALCON – Two mothers and three children were involved in a two-vehicle wreck on KY Rt. 40 Sunday evening, with one having to be extricated from the vehicle.

At approximately 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, emergency crews were called to a two-vehicle wreck on KY Rt. 40 near Lemaster’s Towing, in which two SUVs had collided.

One vehicle included a mother and two small children and the other had a mother and one small child. 

Rescue crews had to pop the driver’s door open for one of the vehicles. That driver was transported to the hospital via ambulance and everyone else involved in the wreck was transported either by ambulance or personal vehicle to the hospital to be checked out. No life-threatening injuries were reported.

Kentucky State Police worked the accident.
