North Magoffin Elementary 5th Grade Class Visits Frankfort

22

On Wednesday, April 3rd the fifth grade class of North Magoffin Elementary visited the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History and Kentucky’s State Capitol in Frankfort.  While at the museum, students took a walk through historical periods of KY’s past while viewing primary sources and interactive displays. Students enjoyed a guided tour of the capitol with many details and facts about the construction and design of the capitol building, the three branches of state government and the five famous statues located in the capitol rotunda. To top off the day, the class enjoyed a delicious meal at Cheddar’s. Students and staff would like to thank NME Principal Mr. Keith Isaac and the Magoffin County Board of Education for allowing them to enjoy such a wonderful and educational experience.
