No injuries in pickup truck vs trooper wreck


No one was injured in a wreck involving a police officer on Monday evening.

According to officials, on Monday, July 8 at approximately 7 p.m., Kentucky State Police Trooper Zach Haney was traveling west on KY 114 in the left lane when a pickup truck, driven by Billy Helton, pulled out of the gravel lot at the top of the Ivyton Hill, hitting Haney’s patrol car on the driver’s side.

No charges were filed and no one was reported injured after the wreck.
