Indictments released, March 2020
SALYERSVILLE – A Magoffin County Grand Jury released the following indictments on Thursday, March 5:
Austin B. Gipson, 23, of Flat Gap, is charged with five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, Class D felonies. According to the indictment, on or about November 29, 2019, Gipson allegedly engaged in conduct which created a substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to five people. According to the original arrest citation, Gipson allegedly shot toward a house in the Falcon area, with five people inside the home, including three minor children.
Crystal Ann Reed, 42, of Salyersville, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense, methamphetamine (Class D felony); and possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor). According to the indictment, on or about August 7, 2018, Reed allegedly possessed a quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Lonnie D. Thacker, Jr., 41, of Pikeville, is charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense, methamphetamine (Class D felony). According to the indictment, on or about February 14, 2019, Thacker allegedly possessed a quantity of methamphetamine.
Warrants were issued for all three defendants indictment on Thursday.
