Henderson provides minutes for Hornets

SALYERSVILLE - Guard Ryan Henderson was a contributor for Magoffin County during the 2019-20 boys' high school basketball season, providing minutes for the Hornets. 

Henderson was one of eight players who took the floor for Magoffin County in a postseason matchup against host Martin County in the 57th District Boys' Basketball Tournament Semifinals. The reliable Henderson chipped in out of a reserve role in his senior campaign, shooting 54.5 percent from the field. The Magoffin County senior shot 50 percent from 3-point range for the Hornets in his final campaign. 

Henderson appeared in 11 games for Magoffin County during the 2019-20 boys' high school basketball season. 

As a junior during the 2018-29 boys' high school basketball season, Henderson appeared in 13 games for the Hornets. 

Henderson played under the direction of Magoffin County head coach Scott Castle during his prep career. 

Magoffin County's latest campaign on the boys' prep basketball hardwood included wins over Floyd Central, Pike County Central, Whitley County, Jenkins, West Carter, Betsy Layne, Morgan County, Letcher County Central, Belfry and Johnson Central.

Following a loss to Martin County in the 57th District Boys' Basketball Tournament Semifinals, Magoffin County concluded the 2019-20 boys' high school basketball season 15-15.
