North Magoffin Elementary had their Kinder-Camp on July 26th and 27th. The kindergarten students toured the school, met the teachers, got to ride a school bus with bus driver and teacher Kim Howard, and had breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria. Teachers also spoke to the parents about the Brigance testing and worked with the students on some things they needed to know. Students also received a kinder camp T-shirt. We had several guest (County Extension Office, Added touch Beauty Salon, Magoffin County Health Dept., Sheriff’s Office, John Blanton-State Representative, and Carol Scott. I apologize if I left anyone out. Principal, Keith Isaac and the school staff  would also like to thank these sponsors for helping us to make this possible (Licking Valley R.E.C.C, Foothills Telecommunications, Don McFarland, Greg Allen, Hometown True Value, Salyersville National Bank, Sheriff’s Office, Tonya Ward, Mountain Top Inc., 1081 Auto Mart LLC, and Brent Patrick).
