Kentucky Art Tribe creates opportunity for local talent
PRESTONSBURG – The Kentucky Art Tribe held their first ever Art in the Park on Saturday, November 5th at Archer Park. The event was a celebration of local talent including visual art, dance and music. Members from Magoffin, Johnson, and Floyd counties gathered to sell their work and meet fellow artists and art lovers from the area.
With a live musical performance by Paul Dean Wells, hoop dancing by Jessica Juniper, and live art demonstrations by Kelli Ward and Erin Alise Conley, Art in the Park was a huge success. Kentucky Art Tribe would like to say thank you to everyone who attended and to all who support the arts.
Kentucky Art Tribe was created to help artists in rural Kentucky find opportunities to pursue their art professionally. By providing exhibits, workshops, and visibility to strengthen the visual talents of rural Kentucky artists in our communities and state wide.
