Toy Blair age 66 of Upper Twin Branch, Denver, KY passed away March 3, 2018 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. He was born October 23, 1951 to the late Hansel Blair and Mary Louise Blair. Toy gave his life to God February 21, 2018 and was baptized February 22, 2018. He graduated from Johnson Central High School in 1969. Toy loved politics and was Johnson County Jailer for 8 years.
Toy loved his wife Sandy. They had been married for 32 years. He loved his children LaToya Scott, Cassandra Helton, Stephanie Powers, Lyncoln Prater, and Mark Blair. He adored his sons-in-law Daniel Scott and Bradley Helton. He loved all his grandchildren Luke Scott, Layne Scott, Aria Helton, Elli Helton, Mark Andrew Blair, Sydney Blair, Caleb Collins, Taylor Powers, Emily Powers, Caden Prater, and Caitlyn Prater.
Toy is preceded in death by his parents Hansel Blair and Mary Louise Baldwin Blair. His sister Neloween Blair Fairchild, son-in-law Derek Powers, granddaughter Peyton Grace Blair, nephew Robert Lee Haney, brothers-in-law, Steve "Rick" Ratliff, Ivan Fairchild, and sister-in-law Shari Dee Howard.
Toy is survived by his brother Benson Blair (Wonell), his sisters Eldalene Haney, Vickie Louise Wheeler, Anna Rose Spradlin (Larry), and Burletta Ratliff. Brothers-in-law Paul, Tommy, and Charlton Howard. Sisters-in-law Delora Tapp and Christi Montgomery. Nephews Darrell Haney, Paul Wheeler, Kevin Wheeler, Greg Fairchild, Jason Rice, Eric Howard, Adam Tapp, Seth Howard, and Trenton Caudill. His nieces Sandy Ratliff, Jennie Murray, Tammy Rice, Pricilla Reasor, Melanie Ramey, Summer Castle, Marilyn Terry, and Paige Howard. Great nephews Travis Haney, Jacob Wheeler, Logan Wheeler, Christopher Haney, Grant Rice, Ryan Murray, Seth Murray, Nick Wheeler, Isaac Castle, Cameron Castle, Elliot Tapp and Colin Reasor. Great nieces Blair Rice, Rayvon Wheeler, Claudia Tapp, Taylor Wheeler, Kylie Wheeler, Josie Wheeler and Adalynn Ramey.
Toy loved all his family and friends. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Graveside service will be held at the Blair Family Cemetery at Upper Twin Branch, Denver, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
