Judy Williams

Judy Williams age 72 passed away on May 31, 2018 at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Care facility in Jackson, Michigan.  Born on October 29, 1945 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to Willard and Ophea Stone, she came from a family of 6 brothers and 4 sisters.  On October 17th, 1964, she was married to Densel Williams.  Together they had 2 boys, Jeff and Shawn Williams whom she loved dearly.  Judy was employed as a secretary and for office personal in the Jackson area.  Judy loved gardening, sewing, raising horses and her sons.  Thru her, her sons learned the meaning of "honest day's work" whether it be from taking care of the lawn, planting and weeding the garden, taking care of horses, bailing hay and straw or helping their next door neighbors Jim and Violet Bailey with the same chores, she not only worked with them but was also there when they needed her as a mother when she cooked, cleaned and took care of their needs as if they were her own; always with a strength and love that could not be measured.  As a wife she stood side by side with her husband Densel thru the best of times and some of the most difficult situations with strength, conviction and most of all, love.  Judy enjoyed flying with Densel since he is a pilot, and the annual trips they would take for fly-ins in Jackson, Michigan, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and Lakeland, Florida were filled with good times, good friends and always love.  She is survived by her husband Densel, her sons Jeff and Shawn Williams, daughter in-law Heidi Williams, 3 granddaughter Stephanie Kitzerow, Ashly Kitzerow, Bailey Williams, 4 brothers Denver Stone, Clifford (Bonnie) Stone, Phillip (Bonnie) Stone, Herbert Stone and 4 sisters Arbutus (Howard) Love, Abigale Prater, Vertrice (Lewis) Schnaubelrauch, and Suzzane (Lloyd) Schnaubelrauch.  A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Judy Williams, was held at the Hampton Funeral Home in Jackson, on Monday, June 4, 2018 beginning at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Dr. James Walling officiating.  Interment, with a graveside service, took place in the Wireman Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky, on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 beginning at 11:00 A.M.
