John Harrison Hylton

John Harrison Hylton age 89 of Silk Stocking Road, Jackson, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at his home. He was born October 3, 1928 in Filbert, West Virginia to the late Martin Luther and Maggie Ellen Bishop Hylton. He was the husband of Anna Scott Wright Hylton, who survives. 
Survivors also include one son, Bobby (Elisha) Hylton of Gunlock, Kentucky, four daughters, Sue (Roy) Osborne of Saint Paul, Virginia, Kathy (Frank) Papp of Kingsport, Tennessee, Johnnie Clark of Lexington, Kentucky, and Robin (Bruce) Jane of Tarpin Springs, Florida, one brother, Walter Ernest "Buck" (Darlene) Hylton of Abington, Virginia, and one sister, Polly Murphy of Blue Field, Virginia. Twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive. 
In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by two brothers, Junior Hylton and Bill Hylton, and one sister, Frances Weeks.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Thursday, May 3, 2018 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Minix and Harold Clemons officiating. Entombment will follow in the Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, Virginia. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6 pm Tuesday, May 1, 2018, all day Wednesday, and anytime Thursday prior to funeral services.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
