Deloris Dale Benton Perkins
Deloris Dale Benton Perkins age 78 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Saint Claire Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She was born June 24, 1938 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Dazzell and Ina Belle Bailey Benton. She was the wife of James Perkins, who survives.
Survivors also include three sons, Randell Perkins, Ronnie Perkins, and Jeffery Perkins all of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Carolyn Sprague of Salyersville, Kentucky, two brothers, Donald Benton and Daniel Benton both of Salyersville, Kentucky, five sisters, Linda Purcell, Earie Dingus, and Joyce Davis all of Salyersville, Kentucky, Brenda Barker of Missouri, and Shirley Knoblock of Dayton, Oho, and two God-daughters, Faye Perkins of Salyersville, Kentucky, and Carol Birchfield of Findlay, Ohio. Six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive.
Deloris was a devoted member of the Bethlehem to Calvary Apostolic Church.
In addition to her parents, Deloris is preceded in death by one infant son, one brother, Bill Benton, and three sisters, Judy Keeton, Marie Moore, and Mary Lee Willis.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 am Friday, February 17, 2017 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Reed officiating. Burial followed in the Perkins Cemetery at Grape Creek, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
