Chester Gambill


Chester Gambill age 82 of Painters Lick Road, Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday September 12, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Morgan County to the late Floyd and Lula Estep Gambill.  Survivors include one son, Marty (Leighann) Gambill of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Veda            (Brian) Adams of Salyersville, Kentucky, three sisters, Dollie Young of Picia, Ohio, Wanda Hall, Judy Wheeler both of Salyersville, Kentucky, six grandchildren, Kevin Gambill, Breanna Arnett, Courtney Francis, Jarred Hensley, Jasmine Hensley, John Hensley, four great grandchildren, Braydon Gambill, Lucas Gambill, Melia Arnett, and Eliana Francis. 

Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Justine Howard Gambill, five brothers, Mitchell Gambill, Malcom Gambill, Ramsey Gambill, Woodrow Gambill, Hollie Gambill, four sisters, Rhoda Young, Ruby Young, Pearl Hall, and Berdie Coffee.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 P.M Sunday September 15, 2019 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Hershel Wright officiating.  Burial followed in the Gambill-Adams Cemetery at Painters Lick, Kentucky.  

Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
