One injured in wreck on Rt. 3337
MIDDLE FORK – One woman was transported to the hospital after a one-vehicle accident on Rt. 3337 on Friday.
According to Magoffin County Rescue Squad Captain Carter Conley, the driver, whose name was not released, turned from Rt. 378 onto Rt. 3337 (Down-And-Around) and as the road narrowed, she pull over in case she met another vehicle, dropping off the pavement and getting stuck in the ditch.
Rescue crews were able to remove her from the vehicle by putting her on a backboard and pulling her out of the passenger side door.
She sustained no serious injuries but was transported to Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center for further evaluation.
In addition to the Magoffin County Rescue Squad, the Magoffin County Sheriff Department and Middle Fork Volunteer Fire Department responded to the accident.
