Kids not hurt in wreck on 460

On Friday, June 8, a mother driving on US 460 toward Salyersville lost control of her vehicle near the Elk Creek BP, flipping it on its top.

Upon rescue crews' arrival, the mother was out of the vehicle and trying to get her two children out of the car. The kids were thankfully completely unscathed, having been properly secured in their seats.

The photo above shows rescue crews taking the car seats to transport the children.

The mother was air-lifted for a possible head and hand injuries.
