Magoffin County Special Olympics competed in the 2026 state summer games Saturday June 6, held in Richmond, KY, with the athletes placing as follows:
Hunter Spradlin 1st place 100-meter dash, 3rd place softball ball throw
Colton Bays 2nd place 50-meter dash, 3rd place softball ball throw, 1st place art contest photography
Benjamin Miller 3rd place 50-meter dash
Jace Owsley 2nd place 50-meter dash and 2nd place softball throw
