Luther “Pa” Shepherd age 73, of Gunlock, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at his residence.    Luster was born October 18, 1937 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, the son of the late Goble and Bertha Shepherd.  He was married to Edith Howard Shepherd and she survives.  Luther was a Pipe Line worker and retired Coal Miner.  He was a member of the Salt Lick United Baptist Church.  Luther was preceded in death by one son:  Vaughn Shepherd and one brother:  Elwood Shepherd.  Survivors include:  three sons:  Donald

Marie Arnett Whitaker, age 77, a resident of Gunlock, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center.  Marie was born October 3, 1933 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Burney and Harriet Wireman Arnett.  Survivors include one son:  Bruce Michael Whitaker of Woodbury, MN; three sisters:  Sandy Shepherd and Ruth Shepherd both of Gunlock, Kentucky and Mable Hopkins of Wisconsin; and one grandson:  Christopher Michael Whitaker of Woodburn, MN.  In addition to her parents, her Husband:  Jim Dan Wh

Goldie Francis Howard age 84, of Pricey Creek Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the Morgan County A.R.H.
