Luther “Pa” Shepherd age 73, of Gunlock, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at his residence. Luster was born October 18, 1937 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, the son of the late Goble and Bertha Shepherd. He was married to Edith Howard Shepherd and she survives. Luther was a Pipe Line worker and retired Coal Miner. He was a member of the Salt Lick United Baptist Church. Marie was born October 3, 1933 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Burney and Harriet Wireman Arnett.
