Raleigh Stephens age 88 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born August 1, 1923 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Edgar and Lilly Mae Allen Stephens.
He is survived by his wife Ethel Wireman Stephens; one Sister Lucy Dickerson of Lakeland, Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers Roscoe Stephens, Callie Stephens and Claude Stephens.

Veneda "Fronie" Pennington age 80 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. She was born June 21, 1931 in Washington Court House, Ohio to the late Fred and Minnie Bennett Evans.
She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Bryant Pennington.
