Ila Stephens, 85, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 18, 1930 in Oil Springs, KY, the daughter of John L. and Rora (Saylor) Trent. On October 26, 1946, she married Clayton Stephens; he preceded her in death in 1984. Ila worked for Standard Products and for Chrysler Automotive, retiring in 1985. Ila loved her family, in addition to raising her daughters, she raised her siblings, Pracilla, Alta, Tracy and Bill.

She was born November 5, 1930 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Jasper and Polly Cole Miller. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Jack May and her second husband, Okie Howard.
