John Clay Mullins, age 53 of Royalton, KY., passed away August 30, 2010 at his residence.   He was born April 3, 1957 in Magoffin County, the son of the late Cecil Mullins and Sarah Vanderpool Mullins.  He was married to Teresa Ann Stigall Mullins who survives.  Also surviving is one son:  John Edward Mullins of Salyersville.  Five brothers:  Wilson Mullins of Royalton, KY., Rudy Mullins, Donald Mullins, Jackie Mullins all of Salyersville, KY and Harold Mullins of Tazwell, TN.

Amos Auxier, age 92, of Royalton, Ky., passed away Friday August 27, 2010 at his residence.  Amos was born August 29, 1917 to the late James Franklin and Eliza Howard Auxier in Carter County, Ky.  Amos worked in the oil fields and was a logger.  He was united in marriage to the late Francis Bailey Auxier and was a member of the Rock Fork Baptist Church.  Amos is survived by two Sons:  Kenneth Auxier and Arthur Auxier both of Royalton, Ky; Two Daughters:  Cloteen Aldrich of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Estelene Kennedy of Albion, Michigan; Five Brothers:  Hubert Auxier of Ann Arbor, Michigan,

Joy passed away peacefully on August 18, 2010 at Arbor Hospice.  She was born on March 27, 1934 in Salyersville, KY, the daughter of Beecher and Maude Patrick.  On July 2, 1951 Joy married the love of her life, Ray Gullett.  The couple moved to the Ann Arbor area in 1957.  Joy’s greatest treasure was her family.  She dedicated her life to her children and later, grandchildren and even great grandchildren.  For her, there was no better way to spend the day than surrounded by family and friends.  She never missed a chance to celebrate life’s achievements, both large and small.  Children would

Georgette Morgan Conley, age 66, of 2313 Old Burning Fork Road passed away August 18, 2010 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.  Georgette is the daughter of the late Jack ‘Cuge” and Lucy Mae Salyer Minix.  In addition to her parents, Georgette is also preceded in death by a daughter, Neva Lucille Arnett Rudd and one brother, Larry Gene Morgan.  In her passing she leaves behind one daughter:  Anna Kaye Barker of Ashland, Ky., five brothers:  Charles Ray (Chuck) Morgan, Carl Douglas Minix, Bobby Minix and Jack Minix of Salyersville, and Roy Minix of Royalton, Ky.  Two sister

Tommy Jean Lemaster Cooper, age 77 of Bedford, Ky., formerly of Salyersville passed away on Friday August 13, 2010 at her home.  She was born April 20, 1933 to the late Orville Lemaster and Essie Adams Lemaster.  Tommy was a homemaker and worked with her husband the late Dr. John Cooper as a medical receptionist.  Survivors include one son Mark (Vicki) Cooper of Nicholasville, Ky., 2 grandchildren and one half-sister, Kay Dillabough.  A graveside service was conducted on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the Bluegrass Cemetery in Salyersville.
