He was born March 26, 1938 in Trace, Kentucky to the late Oscar Wireman and Martha Bailey Cole. He was the husband of Dollie Bailey Wireman, who preceded him in death.

Mollie Carty Jackson age 86 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. She was born March 17, 1930 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Edgar and Ruie Penix Carty.

Lewis Franklin "Ned" Kazee age 86 of Mash Fork Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at his home. He was born July 1, 1930 on Mash Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Powell and Ida Fairchild Kazee. He was the husband of Lillian Barnett Kazee, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Jeffrey Lewis Kazee of New York, New York, and three grandchildren, John David Kazee, Vassileia Lillian Kazee, and Sophia Grace Kazee.
Ned was a devoted member of the Salyersville First Baptist Church.

Wade Isaac age 85 of Mud Lick Road, Salyersville, Ky passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at the St Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born September 1, 1931 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Keen and Rhoda Williams Isaac. He was the husband of Merlean Gullett Isaac, who preceded him in death.

Sharon D. Mullins, age 55, a resident of College Heights in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at her home.
 Sharon was born January 1, 1962 in Salyersville, Kentucky, she is the daughter of Cecil and Sarah Vanderpool Mullins. Brothers, Harold Mullins, Danny Mullins, Merlin Mullins, Johnny Mullins, sisters, Carol Sue Smith, Elsie Williams, precede her in death.
Sharon was a member of the Baptist Faith.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Jack Wendell Prater age 70 of Carpenter Ridge, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at his home. He was born May 16, 1946 in Johnson County, Kentucky to the late James and Ronnie Patrick Prater. He is survived by his wife, Linda Gail Oney Prater. 
Survivors also include two sons, Patrick (Traci) Prater of Salyersville, Kentucky, and Jack Jr. (Jessica) Prater of Paintsville, Kentucky, one daughter, Amy (Mark) Fairchild of Salyersville, Kentucky, and four grandchildren, James Dillon Prater, Patrick Shane Prater, Matthew Fairchild, and Macy Fairchild.

Ova Hall age 87 of Rockhouse Fork Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at his home. Born July 18, 1929 at Pricey, Ky., he was a son of the late Dover and Ethel Hopkins Hall. He was united in marriage to Thelma "Toe" Rice Hall who survives. Ova was a Drilling Rig operator and a member of the New Life Worship Center.

Leslie Jones, age 77, a resident of East Maple Street in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Leslie was born November 10, 1939 in Paintsville, Kentucky, to the late David and Deleza Vanhoose Jones. Also preceding him in death is one son, Leslie Allen Jones, four brothers; Paul, Holly, McKinley and David Jones, and two sisters; Opal Vanhoose and LeeDith Burke.
Leslie was a veteran of the Korean War.

Goldie Lovely Wireman age 88 of Trace Fork Road, Waldo, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at her residence. She was born February 13, 1928 in Breathitt County, Kentucky to the late Logan and Nancy Bailey Lovely. She was the wife of Cledith Wireman, who preceded her in death. 
Survivors include two daughters, Patty (Arthur) Auxier of Royalton,
