Phyllis Rose Risner Long age 51 of Lexington, Kentucky formerly of Magoffin County, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her home. She was born October 13, 1966 in Lansing, Michigan to Ernie Risner and the late Anna Faye Gipson Risner.

Deborah Allen age 67 of Eastern, Kentucky passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born January 25, 1951 in Martin, Kentucky to the late Sidney and Launa Hinkle Allen. 
Survivors include one son, Paul Michael Joseph of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, two daughters, Shanna Shepherd and Sydney Joseph, one sister, Patty Hopkins, and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Tracy Michelle Howard age 42 of Sandy Hook, Kentucky formerly of Magoffin County, Kentucky passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at her home. She was born September 23, 1975 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Fonzie Howard and Hazel Francis Collins, who survives.

Lyon “Doc” Cooper, age 89 of Jeffersonville, Ohio, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 4:00pm, surrounded by his loving family.  He had been a patient at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He is the eldest child of James Dewey Cooper and Ethel Lyon Cooper.  He was born on March 31, 1928 in Plutarch, Magoffin County, Kentucky.

Judith Gail Conley Dingus age 65 of Cedar Grove, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at her brother's home. She was born February 26, 1952 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Dorsey and Thelma Mae Combs Conley.  She was the wife of Kenneth Dingus, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include three brothers, Ronald Conley, Johnny Conley, and Greg Conley all of Salyersville, Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews.

David Jonathan (Johnny) Webb Sr., age 73 of Oil Springs passed away Thursday February 1 at Highlands Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 4, 1945 in Johnson County to Jonathan and Cava Webb.
He is survived by his wife Eulah Marguerite of Oil Springs; one son David Webb Jr. of Oil Springs; one daughter Marguerite Rosalie Webb of Hager Hill; three sisters, Cora Webb of Oil Springs, Mary Sites of Whitehouse and Roberta Weikert of North Carolina; and five grandchildren.

James Orville Holland age 79 of Birch Branch Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mount Vernon, Kentucky. He was born February 13, 1938 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Charlie and Nettie Holbrook Holland.

Lisa Kay Bourque Conrad age 54 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Paul B Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was born September 26, 1963 in New Iberia, Louisiana to the late Herbert and Rebecca Patin Bourque. 
Survivors include one son, Alex Conrad of Louisiana, one daughter, Kristin Trusty of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Jacob Harry of Louisiana, and one sister, Sidney Badeaux of Louisiana. 
Lisa was a devoted member of the Salyersville Trinity Full Gospel Church.

Burley Pitts, age 51, of Guage, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.
Burley was born December 17, 1966 in Campton, KY to the late Adam and Ella (Holbrook) Pitts.

Age 93 of Bethany Village died Monday, January 29, 2018. A 70 year resident of Dayton, Harold was born in Magoffin County KY to Thomas and Anna (Conley) Prater. He graduated from Salyersville High School, attended University of Dayton, was a WWII veteran, member of VFW and the Parkview Nazarene Church. Harold retired from the service station and auto dealership business.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Marcella (Sparks) Prater, daughters Kathy (C. Daniel) Raisch and Marcia (James) McNally.
