Magoffin CTC Students bring home GOLD in Skills USA
Special to the Independent

I would like to congratulate my Electricity Students for a job well done. Our students competed in regional competition at Big Sandy Mayo campus Friday, March 5th. Tanner Hunley placed 1st. in Job Demonstration, Nathaniel Tate placed 2nd in prepared speech, Zach Litton placed 2nd in Residential wiring, Robert Arnett Placed 1st. in Residential Wiring, and Eric Joseph placed 3rd in job interview.

Our students have worked very hard to prepare for this competition and they will represent Magoffin County Career and Technical Center at state in early April. We wish them luck in this endeavor. It is truly a pleasure to work with these students as they prepare to enter the workforce or pursue a degree at a post secondary institution.  Congratulations
