Royalton man arrested on drugs

A Magoffin County man was arrested Sunday night and charged with various drug offenses.
Jarrod Salyer, 25, of Royalton, was taken into custody by the Magoffin County Sheriff’s Department at his home at approximately 8:30 p.m.
According to a police report, Salyer had sold one roxicodone 30 milligram pill to a confidential informant, which led to a search of his house.
During the search sheriff’s department officials say they found several needles containing a clear liquid.
Salyer was charged with first degree trafficking controlled substance, first degree possession controlled substance, buy/possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
Salyer was lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville.
