Virginia Ruth Prater, age 72, a resident of Salyersville, KY passed away February 12, 2010 at the Salyersville Health Care Center.
Virginia was born November 12, 1937 in Magoffin County, the daughter of the late Samuel Lemaster and Stella Lemaster.
Survivors include her husband, Lacy Prater of Salyersville, KY; one son, Tex Helton of Salyersville, KY; one daughter, Bessie May Risner of Salyersville, KY; one step-daughter, Darlene Prater; two brothers, Billy Francis Lemaster of Salyersville, KY and Junior Lemaster of Marion, OH; two sisters, Sola Meade of Morral, OH and Imagean Tenover of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, two brothers, Willie Lemaster and Clyde Lemaster preceded Virginia in death.
Funeral Services were conducted February 15, 2010 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Talmadge Mann and Grant Cantrell officiating. Burial followed in the Helton Cemetery at Lick Creek, KY.
These arrangements were in care of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
