The Magoffin County High School cross country team participated in the Paintsville Tri-Meet on Thursday, Sept. 13, at Paintsville Lake.  Teams participating included:  Paintsville and Johnson Central. The girls’ team placed second behind Johnson Central.  Linzi Watson placed third, followed by Katia Davis, Holly Ann Ward, Hannah Hunley, Whitney Jenkins, Sarah Howard, Leeza Pack, Liana Wells and Andrea Bauer.  The boys’ team placed third with Dean Thacker the top finisher in sixth place, followed by Chet Back, Mikey Lemaster, Quenton Rogers, Andrew Francis, Tyler Blanton, Damon Huff, Lance Griffith, Wyatt Reed, Donovan Helton and Shane Prater.  Their next meet is scheduled for tonight.
