An organizational meeting to reactivate the local Ministerial Association was held at Magoffin County Health Department on August 17, 2010. 

Eleven local pastors, associates and other participants attended the meeting.  A brief history of the Magoffin County Ministerial Association was given by Ollie Watts, Pastor of Brushy Fork Missionary Baptist. 
Attendees elected new officers:  Mark D. Campbell, Pastor of Emmanual Baptist Church was elected President, Eddie Dennison, Pastor of Burning Fork Community Church was elected Vice President and Dustin Sims, Pastor of Licking River Baptist Church was elected Secretary/Treasurer. 
Regular Ministerial Association meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month, beginning at 6:30PM in the Health Education Room at Magoffin County Health Department. 
The newly reactivated Ministerial Association members extend an invitation to other pastors to join them on September 14, at 6:30PM at Magoffin County Health Department for the next meeting of fellowship and planning for community improvement.
