Robert Patrick, 76, husband of Norma Foley Patrick, passed away at his home on March 2, 2013.
Robert was born October 15, 1936 in Magoffin County to the late Johnny and Dora Shepherd Patrick. He was a retired pipe fitter and was a member of the Pipefitters Local #211 of Houston, Texas. He was a veteran of the U.S Army and he was of the Baptist faith.

 Barbara Knowles age 79 of Gainesville, Florida, formerly of Magoffin County, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at her home. She was born April 30, 1933 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Dennie and Gay Brown Craft.

 Clarice Minix Age 66 of Lexington, Kentucky Formerly Of Royalton, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at The University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born October 1, 1946 in Magoffin County to the late Fred and Audie Gullett Minix.
Clarice is survived by her sister, Sharroll Minix of Lexington, Ky.
In addition to her parents, Clarice is preceded in death by one sister, Freda Mae Minix.

 Elma Jean Tackett Crace, age 85 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at her home. She was born November 3, 1927 to the late Luther and Anna Hampton Tackett.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Kay (Joe) Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky and Terri Lynn Dickerson of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Bryan Neil and special granddaughter-in-law Debbie Salyer and Jeremy Darrel Salyer and special great granddaughter, Kourtney Neil Salyer.

 Lydia Jane McFarland age 84 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away February 22, 2013 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. She was born April 24, 1928 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Haden and Josephine Risner Arnett.
Lydia Jane is survived by two sons, Freddie (Jewel) McFarland and Danny Joe McFarland, both of Salyersville, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

MSgt Edgar Hall, USAF (Ret) passed away at the age of 89 on February 19, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas.  This beloved husband, father, and grandfather was born on June 30, 1923, in Salyersville, Kentucky to Ellis Hall and Mary J. Williams.  Having served his country honorably for 20 years, he was one of the Greatest Generation.  His military career began during WWII and ended with his retirement from the United States Air Force in 1965.  After a subsequent retirement from the International Harvester Company in Springfield, Ohio, MSgt Hall moved to San Antonio to spend his golden years.

 Rodney Humphrey, age 31, a resident of Elam Street in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 in Salyersville, Kentucky.
Mr. Humphrey was born July 15, 1981 in Bluffton, Indiana the son of Gracie Collins Kinney and the late John A. Humphrey Sr.  Also, preceding him in death are his maternal grandparents, Harry and Mae Robinson, and one brother, Tommy Hockensmith.
Mr. Humphrey was an employee of Eagle Well Service of Salyersville, Kentucky.

 Lairel Ray Daniels age 69 of Springfield, Ohio formerly of Magoffin County, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born February 26, 1944 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Oscar and Mollie Montgomery Daniels.

 Mageline "Shug" Cole age 84 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was born May 20, 1928 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Newt and Emily Marshall Cole.  She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include three brothers, Robert Cole, Michael Cole and Lawrence Grey Cole all of Salyersville, Kentucky; and two sisters Wavel Lee Baldridge of Salyersville, Kentucky and Lena Mae Risner of Michigan; several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
